5-2 their last 7

1-0 win over the Indians, 2-5 loss

3-2, 6-1 and 6-2 victories over the Yankees (most shocking series sweep of the season, arguably)

2-3 loss and 10-7 win over the Brewers

Three above .500/playoff-contending teams.

27 RS / 20 RA (less than 3 runs per game)

The Sox have built their record by beating up on bad teams.

Which is okay. In the old days, the Yankees pounded lumps on the poor Kanas City Athletics. But good teams hold their own against other good teams. A split in Cleveland would be  real nice.

O’s just took 2/3 against the Twins. Wild stuff.

Yep. This was the 13 game stetch Twins fans said would save their season. Their expectation was 10-3 at worst and so far are 5-4. Their schedule gets tough right after starting with the Yankees. But to be fair the Twins are only a handful of games ahead of the Orioles.

I was still borderline worried about the Twins until now. I think they’re toast. Just us and the team from Cleveland
