A guy who can call a solid game but is a shit pitch framer, unathletic as hell (Collins) or have a guy who calls a below average game, great pitch framer, but a passed ball machine (Zavala). Both have shit bats so that's a wash (Collins can take a walk, Zavala can run into one over the fence. Both K alot). I don't think there is any question, there. But yeah, bat sucks, passed ball machine vs left handed bat sucks, calls an ok game, but can't frame anything. Yes, but an option is more attractive to other teams. Edit, saw the rule, so he is coming back for sure. I still think he will have a career. He should be on Detroit or Pittsburgh or somewhere he would actually get a chance to succeed. It seems half the time he caught was against LHP.
