If they're scheduling Kopech to pitch today, that means Reylo is probably the starter in the 2nd double header game.

I think that's a bad decision. I'd have piggybacked him and Crochet.

Waitin for the day for hitters to show the shift is a bad idea.

Nice quick inning for Los. He still might have one more inning in him.

Get through the 7th, go Bummer & Hendriks to close and give Kopech a DH start.  Don’t punt game 2 with ReyLo…

Use literally anyone in the bullpen before Kopech. Use him for multiple innings tomorrow and begin the process of stretching him back out.

Don't stop now, Rick Hahn.

David Adler of MLB.com is comparing Rodon to de Grom. Carlos being the left handed version with devastating fastballs/slider combination. With de Grom out with forearm tightness, Carlos is probably #1 dominating pitcher in baseball active today.

All of the contract estimates I've seen for Rodon will be too low if he stays healthy through October.

Well, assuming this was talked about beforehand, it means Kopech was never going to start tomorrow

Hate....HATE using Kopech here, instead of tomorrow in the DH. C'mon TLR.

I think he gets what the Sox offered to Wheeler as a max because of the similar injury concerns.

Pretty much.  The talk of him starting was hot air and ReyLo was always the plan.

I know it won't happen either but at the VERY LEAST let him finish the game and stop wasting him on 1 inning outings
