Owed about $2M more for the rest of 2021 and has a $6M 2022 team option with no buyout. Solid, unspectacular pickup to fill an obvious hole. Also, as much as this looks like a white flag trade for the Indians...they'll just call up Gimenez. Only solace I take is he has hit 18 homers this year, we need more pop, but over his career he is not a homerun hitter. This dude has to bat 9th when everybody is back in the line-up.
