Probably, but what will his role be? Opener? Reliever of an opener. DK at least has a knack for getting out of jams (depending on pitch count.) But will that work in the case of pitching out of other pitcher's jams?  i.e. Is DK a 'fireman'?

I disagree, but some here think that way.

It's a damn tragedy how relied upon it is in today's game.  But that being said, Lynn, Giolito, Lopez and Rodon are on strict pitch count limits.  And it seems they are also limiting how many apperances the key bullpen guys are getting.  I don't see what role Keuchel plays in the ALDS. ALCS is a different story.  I think Keuchel could potentially be an opener in a long series.  But in a short series, if he can't start, I don't see what he does.
