maxjusttyped 2,103 Posted September 15, 2021 I think TA is in a different bucket than a lot of other guys on the team. He's had reoccurring soft tissue injuries for 3 years now and at least twice this season. If he has another setback with his hamstring then that could be his season gone. I think it's extremely important to get the 2 seed and have been saying as such for months, but TA is not the guy you push to make that happen.

Agree with the rest. Rest, rest, rest.

If he gets anything inside or out over the plate it's going 425+ . Ohtani will have at least 2 hits off Keuchel before he's pulled

I think it's extremely important to get the 2 seed, and particularly with Anderson, I have zero problem with him sitting every other day right now and consider that clearly a higher priority.

chw42 4,072 Posted September 16, 2021 Keuchel is going back to throwing out of the windup with nobody on. I don't know if it'll help him, but I guess it's worth trying.
chw42 4,072 Posted September 16, 2021 If that first AB is any indication, I don't think throwing out of the windup is gonna help him. He's lucky Fletcher has no pop.
pcq 1,098 Posted September 16, 2021 Keuchel is unhittable.

maxjusttyped 2,103 Posted September 16, 2021 Watching Keuchel pitch is so similar to watching Mike Wright. Both guys know if they go middle with anything it's getting crushed.
chw42 4,072 Posted September 16, 2021 Walsh is one of those guys who's a bad matchup for Keuchel. He's really struggled against lefties this year.
chw42 4,072 Posted September 16, 2021 Hoberg doesn't have a big zone so I don't think Keuchel is gonna get the calls he got his last start in Oakland.
wegner 3,984 Posted September 16, 2021 Nice 1st inning....Dallas deserves an apology from Soxtalk. I'll hang up and listen.
maxjusttyped 2,103 Posted September 16, 2021 Good start for Keuchel. Handled Ohtani and Walsh very well.
