Eloy looks different for some reason.

Looks like he has been changing his front foot positions. Sometimes its turned all the way in sometimes its out

67 pitches...

It’s 2021, pitch count doesn’t mean much

It depends on who he's facing. He'll close his stance vs. lefties and open up vs. righties.

no one warming up of course

He’s at 68 pitches. He needs to get through 6. If it’s a meaningful game, it’s a different story.

He’s acting like Lester does where any pitch 6 inches off the plate isn’t called a strike leads him to getting annoyed

Hoberg is a terrible ump for Keuchel cause he just refuses to call anything barely off the plate.

Can Dallas get tossed for arguing balls and strikes?

I don't understand fixating on number of pitches or how many innings Keuchel should pitch when he has some of the largest times through the order splits in baseball.

How so?

It’s more about seeing someone a 3rd time which is more important to judging success than pitch count

Can he punch an ump and get banned and forfeit his contract

So is Rodon hurt? He isn't pitching in this series and he's not scheduled to start at all against Texas.

I think it's more about needing him to eat another inning than anything else... Sox used a lot of arms yesterday.

He's pitching Friday.

What is the point of continuing to allow Keuchel to implode in these situations? Manage the games that are in front of you.

good lord.

He's so bad. If you have mediocre stuff, you better have some Mark Buehrle control on it. He has neither.

Keuchel 3rd time through the order: .308/.381/.500

Which is why it’s completely asinine not to have a reliever ready or warming
