He finished his sophmore season at the Univ of Nevada and played the summer with Team USA and absolutely tore it up. No one ever checked but he was a draft eligible sophomore. The Reds had a bunch of left over money and signed him for $700k as an undrafted free agent. Now he's a big leaguer. Lots of scouts had some difficult questions to answer after that one.
