I guess TLR has seen enough of Mike Wright.

Haven't we all.

3 innings for Kopech makes me really think the plan is 4 rodon, 3 Kopech in the playoffs. I think that makes a ton of sense if Tepera can come back.

Leave it to Mike Wright to ruin the shutout.

I presume he is not going to be in the playoff roster.  This was one of the best Sox games of the year until Wright was brought in.

I think Tony will have him throw at someone in the Detroit series and he'll be suspended again, honestly.

I really don't get it. If Crochet was available why not just throw him? Why even bother with Wright if you don't trust him to get one more out with a 5 run lead?

These games are meaningless.  They want to get crochet in a pressure situation like he may see in the playoffs.

Pack ya bags Mike Wright. If Tepera gets activated Friday he's the most likely to go.

We'd be half a game back of Houston had Tampa Bay not blown the game last night.

I mean maybe, but do you think Wright didn’t know where he stood before that?

We still have a chance. If Houston loses tomorrow we’re a game back.

Really 2 since they have to finish ahead.

Wished we would have punted two or three games less, and had a more sense of urgency to lock HFA, particularly with the Sox having the best home record in the AL.

Magic number for Houston to clinch HFA is 2.  So we have to win out and they have to go 1-3, or we can lose one if they lose out.  Possible but still highly unlikely.

This is as confusing as someone telling Soxtalk that Cleveland was going to pass the White Sox soon.

Give him a one way Greyhound ticket to Memphis to join the Knights this weekend for their series there.

Well you are correct but we still have a chance. It’s not going to be easy though.

Well if we don’t get HFA, hopefully we can win at least one game in Houston.

The first game in Houston is huge. A win and you guarantee yourself two games at home. Also if you win that first one the home team will have a ton of pressure on them to win game two.

It's all on the players now to get themselves mentally prepared for the pressure the playoffs bring.
