I'd rather they schedule it for Monday and only play it if the Astros lose the next 2.

Jerry is not giving up the gate and parking revenue, they will play both on the respective days if they get a two hour window for each game, regardless of playoff impact.

Manning's velocity looks a lot better than it did against us in Detroit.

Yikes Luis that ball wasn't even in the same area code as the strike zone.

I know this is a pointless game but our pitchers need to pay attention to base runners at least a little bit in the playoffs. Detroit is running whenever they want on us.

pointless game, doubt Oakland has a comeback in them, maybe at the colosseum

We probably cost Oakland a few wins when we almost killed one of their best pitchers.

It'd be nice if anyone on the staff besides Lopez or Keuchel even faked paying attention to a base runner every once in awhile

That seems like a difficult switch to flip in the playoffs considering they clearly aren't coached to do so, for whatever reason

Crazy to think about how Miggy beat the piss out of the Cubs in the 2003 NLDS (3 homeruns), and then he homered off Roger Clemens in the WS. That was so damn long ago. Man was he a good hitter.
