South Side Hit Men 2,146 Posted October 12, 2021 Just now, fathom said: Tony wouldn’t commit to returning Tony says it is first up to the FO, and if they want him back, then the players must also say they want him back, if not, he will walk away. Says that is how he has operated since he had security after his first several seasons in MLB.

chw42 4,057 Posted October 12, 2021 Correa just said he was sitting high fastball in his AB against Rodon. This team really needs to think about its pitch selection.

This team really needs to think about its pitch selection. Grandal calls for fastballs with runners on, because that is all he is comfortable catching. The Sox really need to bring in two defensive catchers, and either add another DH/1B or move him and or others. Problem is the Dodgers want no part of him, and there are few if any teams willing to take on that salary.

SoxAce 3,094 Posted October 12, 2021 (edited) 3 minutes ago, ShoeLessRob said: What did Rodon do? Correa was commenting that Rodon was over there pumping his chest after his strikeout in the 1st inning and he knew a fastball was coming at 0-2, with a live crowd, wanting to pump his chest again. That's why he mocked it pumping his chest after his double. Edited October 12, 2021 by SoxAce
