Sox @ Twins

Well, it can’t get much worse.  Only the Royals have a worse RS/RA differential in the AL.

-16 to -23.  Balt at -12.

Chris Archer can’t keep this up, can he?  TBD instead of Giolito listed, no Sox lineup posted.  Minnesota has theirs up now.  Gordon and Urshela the left side of the infield with Arraez at DH and ice cold Sano at 1B.

We need a win in the worst way.

You are going to lose games and go through streaks during a season but what absolutely sucks to me is that we might get swept by 2 division rivals, back to back.

We breathed life into those teams and are giving then confidence that they can kick our ass!

Absolutely hate that

Is there any hope whatsoever that a couple more losses in a row would result in a major coaching staff change? If so, I’m happy to sacrifice a few more games to make that happen. The Sox will be far better off with Larussa out of the way. Of course I also realize that scenario is fantasy land.

I said the same thing in the last game thread against the Indians. That if they got swept by the Twins and whoever they play the next series as well, hopefully HOPEFULLY it causes some sort of change/positive reaction.

Miserly loves company!

Strangely enough it actually does make me feel better to know the Astros have sucked as well.  Not six straight losses but its something.

I read today that the Sox are 46-46 in their last 92 games. Is that right? If so, woof

I'm sure it's right . I think they were 2 games over .500 after the ASG last year and combined with 2 games under .500 now  gets you at .500 in the last 92. Might've been some games in the 46-46 that were pre ASG.

I still believe!

I always liked the song.

I've been in a cave for forty days
Only a spark to light my way
I wanna give out, I wanna give in
This is our crime
This is our sin
But I still believe, I still believe
Through the pain and through the grief
Through the lives, through the storms
Through the cries and through the wars
Oh, I still believe
Lie, lie, lie
Lie, lie, lie
Ooh
I'm flat on my back out at sea
Hopin' these waves don't cover me
I'm turned and tossed upon the waves
When the darkness comes I feel the grave
But I still believe, I still believe
Through the cold and through the heat
Through the rain and through the tears
Through the crowds and through the cheers
Oh, I still believe
Lie, lie, lie
Oh-oh
I'll march this road, I'll climb this hill
Up on my knees if I have to
I'll take my place up on this stage
I'll wait 'til the end of time for you like everybody else
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, oh yeah
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Ooh-ooh-ooh
I'm out on my own walkin' the streets
I look at the faces that I meet
I feel like I, like I want to go home
What do I feel?
What do I know?
But I still believe, I still believe
Through the shame and through the grief
Through the heartache, through the tears
Through the waiting, through the years
For people like us in places like this
We need all the hope that we can get
Oh, I still believe
Lie, lie, lie
Oh, yeah yeah
Lie, lie, lie
