Chicago vs Boston Game 3

And there is a sweep! 6 in a row! Back over .500!

Life is good as a Sox fan right now.

Dallas Keuchel with a QS and a win.

That is a sentence I was pretty sure I wouldn't be typing out, today.

McGuire is really making a massive difference behind the plate...starting to think we can overlook his offense if they can overcome Sheets Pollock Harrison and Leury overplaying.

6 straight without scoring more than 4 runs in any game…wonder how many times that’s happened?

Not that I’m complaining

If TA wasn’t going to play today, why not just take that 1 game suspension today?

The end of the game was a lot of Katz. Who is available and who he thinks is ready for the role of closer in the 9th.

that comment was in response to  "Oh god over managing rickie style."

I can. Through thick and thin I supported my guy, from the time he switched from position player to pitcher in the minors.

You must be related to him

Incredible post. Sox beat writers need to get on this one. Tweet it to one of 'em. Good observation.

Another great question. There has to be a rule somewhere right? Otherwise yeah, they woulda taken the suspension.

TLR has his magic touch again, rollin rollin

To be fair, the haters need to make a list of Tony mistakes vs. good moves and give him credit for this one in the good moves column. Ultimately all that matters is winning rings, though, and if the Hall of Famer wins a ring with the Sox that would be huge for his legacy.

Have a feeling someone will bump one of the numerous TLR threads.

That said, Katz should get a bigger extension than Leury if he keeps this up with VV and the "expendables" bullpen.

My god, Foster suddenly looks like he could be a quasi-closer.

Just getting to the ALCS would feel like a miracle this year.

Like he did a couple of years ago under Cooper?

If he feels like he has a winnable appeal, then he needs to ride it out.
