Mr. Defer to the "expert" and/or career .220s hitter.

just because Beckham was pretty bad in the bigs doesnt mean he doesnt know what hes talking about. Plenty of bad hitters and pitchers became coaches in the bigs.

Ricky only had 2 pitchers in the playoffs it wasn't his fault he was hyperventilating.  Like you said "The team played their asses off every single day" for him, can we say the same about are HOF manager?

His instinct about Rodon having something special remaining or added value wasn't as off as it seemed at the time.

He's still a jackass.  And that whole thing with the homophobic crap written in the dirt for Getz to read...just not classy. He's seemingly a bit more mature now at least.

I actually thing Gordon could be a infield coach or something. He didn't hit but Gordon was pretty good with the glove

Ricky also supposedly wanted the Sox to get more pitching at the deadline and Hahn said nope

I've been saying the past two years the Sox should have been all in at both deadlines trying to win a title because the future is never guaranteed.

Amazing thing is when Lynn gets back, it's likely this rotation bails them out of a lot of faults and they do go on a hot run, but the underlying issues with La Russa at the helm and with their shortcomings are harder to overcome in the post-season; if they get there.

Except for infield pop ups in front of the mound.

Heck bring Viciedo back from Japan. Anything to change the atmosphere around this organization, at least on the major league side.
