Perez normally in the low 60% range for first pitch strikes…much lower today but Sox still not putting him away. So now they need to rest players more even if the bat is hot? Seems contradictory to most posts stating they need to have the hot bats stay in the lineup. Plus Mcguire hasn't been performing as well as Jake Burger. But yeah, he lost his every day starter job until he could start producing again.
