Sit his ass on the bench and give him a spot start now and then when Jake, Josh, Danny or Leury need a day off.  Let him wait his turn and make him earn his way back into the starting lineup whatever position that may be.

You were likely saying the same thing about Grandal 10 days ago. He’s now seemingly hit his way out of the funk. Yoan is still less than 100 AB’s into his season, let’s relax a little

Stupid move by Tony playing him today. So what if his bat seemed hot.

Even if he was fully healthy you don't see a ton of catchers catching a day game after a night game.

Timing with Carlos Perez in a slump probably isn’t the best…

Rangers’ broadcasters had raised eyebrows about Grandal starting two consecutive…day game after a night game.

5-3 Twins now.

Perez normally in the low 60% range for first pitch strikes…much lower today but Sox still not putting him away.

When you're manager's so old he goes to bed at 8pm every game seems like a night game.

Perhaps trying to get some momentum built. Glad to perhaps see Tony taking this record seriously.

So now they need to rest players more even if the bat is hot? Seems contradictory to most posts stating they need to have the hot bats stay in the lineup.

I been stating all year that rarely do catchers play in day games following night games and have been ridiculed for it.

Grandal has been starting less than he had been and you only have two catchers on the roster.  Plus Mcguire hasn't been performing as well as Jake Burger.  But yeah, he lost his every day starter job until he could start producing again.

Sorry, that should have been in green.
