Timmy U 739 Posted June 11 Hernandez ended 2-3 with 2bb 2sb and somehow scored only 1 run. Chapelli was 2-4 with a bb. DSL means nothing, but they won 8-0, and seem to be winning a lot in the early going.
Timmy U 739 Posted June 11 Kelley 2IP 1H 0R 1BB 4K so far. I still think he’s a reliever, but he has been pitching better lately.
SoCalChiSox 672 Posted June 11 Wasn't Hernandez compared to like a poor man's Juan Soto or something? He's certainly savaging so far

bighurt4life 42 Posted June 11 Kelley has now had two good outings in a row. Only went 3 today but perhaps they’re trying to rebuild his confidence and pulling him early.

He hasn’t had a full workload ever. Gonna take a while to build him up.
Timmy U 739 Posted June 11 Haseley 2-2 with a double. Maybe he can be our Luis Gonzalez. Oh, wait…

Just gotta stay healthy and get more ABs I'm wondering how long he stays at A+. I'm not pushing for a promotion mind you. He's doing pretty well for a guy who had so much time off then more time off this season. K rate seems a little high (25.4%). I'm hoping that K rate has been improving from earlier in the season. AA would be a big step and he probably should have around 250 AB's and then assess if he's ready to make the jump to AA. Once in AA and fully healthy and some of the rust is gone , you hope he could progress more rapidly.

Nice to see the lower level ACL (4-1) and DSL (6-0 ) teams off to hot starts. Not going to try to draw any conclusions.
