Reds’ fans did that targeting ownership this spring…pooled money together for at least two highly visible billboards.

The pressure comes if protestors tied firing him to an ongoing boycott of games and merch. Jery Reinsdorf is doing whatever owners do while they live their lives. Ignore the unwashed masses. They perk up when their caretakers inform them that the rubes aren't filing in.

I can understand Graveman and Liam not being available, but what the hell is going on with Bummer that he hasn't pitched since Tuesday? The 10th inning would have been a perfect time to use him with 2 lefties in the first 3 hitters.

Liam not being available is also because TLR didn't want to use Jimmy Lambert in a 5 run game last night. He used him in a tie game for almost 3 innings today.

Sousa in again in a close game, doomed the Sox again, combined with Leury poor defense.  TLR should be toast but as usual JR will disconnect the toaster and save his ass.

The game has passed by La Russa and if ownership can't realize that then it's way past time to sell to a group that will act more professional! Sorry Mr. Reinsdorf but the game has also passed by you.

JR won't sell out of pure stubbornness. And more the fans chant about Tony, the more stubborn he will get about that, too. Might as well save your breath.

How many people on the planet think Tony has done a good job and should continue as manager? Maybe a couple dozen? Nobody wants him here. The players may say the right thing just to stay out of it, but there’s no way La Russa is bringing any value to the team in its most important year of the post-rebuild years. This guy has to go now!

I don't have a problem with him going as ultimately he is the manager and responsible for the team performance.  However with the poor hitting and injuries, I can't see anyone really doing much better.

Managers just really don't matter that much in baseball and I'll stick with it.

I agree that managers have a marginal impact on the game. However, he just has too many head-scratcher moments. Abysmal lineup construction, the debacle a couple days ago. He's regularly putting the team in difficult situations.

I thought the point of a manager is so he could take blame and attention off the players. Burger and Gio have both had to issue public statements saying "my bad" cause TLR embarrassed the team with his managerial decisions these past few days.
