No, it's just weird. I didn't think much about it having to do with his age. Most pitchers are pretty consistent velo wise over the course of a season. Even older ones.

I'm sure that's the logic, but I'd rather have Burger up here & then put Reese at C. but it's far from one of TLR's more egregious mistakes.

Yeah; it’s fair especially with McGuire sitting last night too. Result didn’t make it any better!
