We are still helping Semien's career getting him out of Chicago and playing guys out of position ... which Marcus knows about having been typecast as a utility guy early in his Sox career.

Ron Washington acting as if he had to reteach Semien how to play defense wasn't a great look for the Sox player development & coaching staff.

This Cole Ragans isn't even available in the yahoo leagues. Marissa Mayer is such a b****.

Ummm...pretty sure she doesn't make those decisions.  Did you buy that stock too high?  Isn't it Alibaba or Soft Bank with controlling interest now?

I'm imagining Billy Beane and Washington talking with Semien like in they did in Moneyball.

Let's face it, most 6 year old little league teams have a superior coaching staff, player fundamentals and baserunning, and employ better analytics.

I've heard before that a lot of outfielders think CF is the easiest to play

If you can read slice or pull...spin on the ball, under or over, would agree because the perspective is straight into the plate and you also need to be more aggressive since you should be the best outfielder covering gaps for the corners.  That said, Pollock doesn't have the sprint speed to run down balls like a Buxton.

It's the easiest in the sense of reading the ball. you have a great angle to the plate and you aren't going to deal with a wicked hooking line drive into the corners. that said, you have to be a special athlete to cover both power alleys.
