Paris orchestrated everything—where we got married, where to get the license. STUFF: Why did you decide to take the death plunge? NICKY: I’ve known Todd for four years—he’s a family friend. He’s the funniest person I’ve ever met. He teases Paris. Man, he gets under her skin. He’s always trying to embarrass her in front of her boyfriends. He talks about how messy her room is. She gets so mad. Like, we were going to dinner last night, and she said, “I’m only going if Todd doesn’t embarrass me.” And of course he did. STUFF: Why didn’t you keep the wedding a secret? NICKY: I’m an idiot. When I signed the license, I thought the media wasn’t going to pick up on it if I used my real name, Nicholai Hilton. Then I got home and turned on CNN and saw the story on the news ticker.
