Carl's leaving the game.  f***ing great.

This is bad news.

Keep in mind, Podsednik is also missing some time.

If both of those guys miss extended time, we are in some deep s***.

What exactly happened?  I'm only watching Gameday.

He really, really, really misplayed a routine fly to LF.

He broke in on it and it sailed over his head. Well, he decides to run directly into the wall and not only misses the ball, but injures his shoulder.

The worst part is this inning should of never happened.

Uribe blew that play.

Carl was attempting to catch Broussard's ball, but his shoulder crashed into the wall. He was grimacing in pain for a few minutes.

It definitely is Everett's shoulder that was injured. He grabbed it right away and Herm was rubbing in. Then Carl started trying to stretch it and was in too much pain to continue. One thing this play shows is that Carl's fielding glove should be thrown in the garbage. He is strictly a DH now.

How many outs does El Duque need to get?

Everett's was an easy fly ball.

Uribe blew a double play.

He does not need to settle down, the defense needs to apologize and beg him for forgiveness.

SB

Actually there is no way they turn 2 on that grounder, they were in the Hafner shift, Crisp would have beaten Harris to the bag easily. Still a horrible play though.
