As someone has said, he's probably a career minor leaguer, but with those kind of numbers, you never know, maybe he could be a late bloomer? Doubtful, but you never know

Toca's leading the team in HR's and both are hitting over .280. It's tough to find solid performers for Charlotte. Besides, I think if there was any inclination to release Toca it would have been when he was suspended.

Agreed. But Toca will never sniff Chicago and already has been suspended for violating the substance abuse policy this year. If we need someone to backup 3B or 1B there's a good chance it'll be Norton. Also, with Charlotte so down as it is, their hopes for the playoffs are pretty much done anyways. Rogo is an actual prospect. Daigle isnt...yet...but he has more of a chance than Toca in staying in the organization after this year. Basically my point is they should try and figure something out.

But if teams like BHam are in a pennant race, and Rex alluded to this last year, they aren't as likely to move players unless truly needed. That's why you saw guys like Orionny in Charlotte last year instead of Smith.
