Why is Pods not playing

Recommended Posts

Lefty pitching and they probably wanted to give him a night off.

:huh if any one knows let me no :gosox1:  :gosox2:  :gosox3:  :gosox4:  :gosoxretro:

I assume Ozzie is just giving him a day off, and he probably wanted to keep Carl's hot bat in the lineup. Frank obviously had to get some run tonight.

Welcome to Soxtalk!

Questions about the game as it's going on usually go in the game thread. Just a fyi. They'll get more attention there, anyway.

When Widger was on earlier on the radio, he said Ozzie wanted to give Everett and Frank some at-bats. That's all.

You can't make "know" out of "no" without KW.

That would have been extremely witty if it made any sense at all. :D

he used "no" instead of "know"

KW = letters he left off and also is the initials of our GM who is constantly lambasted here.

It was a Dennis Miller-esque joke.

Which means, like, 10% of the population understood it.

I have learned jokes that come with their own set of instructions are often best avoided. :D

Frank was 2/3 w a HR last night. Everett AB's will come at the expense of Pods & Dye. Get used to it. Everett is an RBI producer this year.

I hate the way we're almost platooning Pods. He needs to be playing as much as possible in the leadoff spot. We got him to impact games in which we don't hit a lot of homers. Thus, we need him in the lineup no matter who is pitching.

It's a long season and they have bumps and bruises. It's a constant balancing act to keep his legs fresh for basestealing.

If anyone would know, you would: how many of Carl's RBI were scored by Pods?
