Blown Saves

What's the record for Blown Saves in a season?

If you're talking about for 1 person, the record is 11.

Roberto Hernandez, Jeff Shaw, and Curtis Leskanic have all done it. No year listed.

For a team, the most is 30 (American League team -- doesn't specify which one).

Hope that is helpful.

Was that the Seattle team in the late 90's before they got guys like Nelson and company?

I'd have to guess the Royals. A few years ago they had a terrible bullpen that blew almost every game they lead.

This team won't come close to setting any of those type of records. How many blown saves do we have anyway (5?)
