That said, I am skipping my classes and work shift tomorrow and I am getting playoff fever. I had classs suring the 00 ALDS and with all the daygames it was over before I knew it. Fathom, just in terms of the discussion we've had previously...tomorrow is actually very important for Contreras, in that it's his best chance to prove to the rest of the league that he's come around and become a big game pitcher. You've suggested in the past that you'd be willing to consider trading him if the right offer came along, since his value may never be higher than it will be after this season. Well, for that to be the case, he actually has to perform in the playoffs. If he does so, his value could go through the roof. He feels that Brandon McCarthy has earned a spot in the rotation. As a matter of fact, Ozzie would be 'ignorant' if he didnt give McCarthy a start.
