tuff 1

2 v. good points

1. cubs and their stupid fans going nuts

2. city of chicago / twins hatred.

Ill go with twins, cubs fans would annoy the s*** outta us.

and Twins are a v. good organization, with very little money spend on players (unlike yankees), and wud give AL central more respect i'd guess.

I actually like the Twins a whole bunch. Minnesota is my second home basically. Plus, I will always go for the AL and especially the AL Central first and foremost. I always want to prove our division is the best.

(it's got nothing to do with the Cubs, BTW)

If the situation being reversed means that the Sox have not been to a WS since 1959, then I go with the Twins.

BUT if the Sox have already won a WS of their own, then I'd root for the Cubs.

We have to win it next.  Then they can win it and we can drop the stupid 'rivalry'.

Jerry Reinsdorf? Is that you?

Do people really think that the rivalry would go away, even if both teams brought home trophies?

I think not. I think the rivalry would be there, just as intense, even if the Chicago ballclubs won alternating championships for the next 10 years.

You might be right, but if both teams went back and forth with WS wins for a while, at least it would finally BE a rivalry.
