For a 10 team league, thats not a great team :o.

You sure you got the right team? I dont see any bonds on there?

Ichiro + figgens on same team? I guess thats pretty good, but you deff need some power. Your outfield is exteremly weak. Pitching is mediocre, Harden is great. Pettitte could be good, or great depending on how his offense does. Closers are okay, Hoffman shud be decent-good, Street is good, And reitmesa is a maybe.

Overall? Decent.

I think your hitting lacks, outfield is weak, Berkman isnt my typical first base, but hes solid i suppose. Clint barmes is a question mark, and your pitching is mediocre in a 10 team league. :P.

But wheres bonds? If you have bonds that changes some things

I just mentioned bonds in terms of alou, figuring alou hits before barry and barry produces alou should put up good numbers, last year he he played mostly second half and did really well i like his chances. I plan on getting atlantas closer, im hopin its reitsma but it could be sosa.

Personally i think wily mo was a great pick if he starts which according to yahoo he is but its not for certain.

Willy Mo is not that solid. He'll hit 25-30 homers if he is the full-time starter, but he'll also probably hit around .250, with maybe 80 RBI and a low runs total, since he isn't exactly a disciplined hitter.

Solid team.

Great SP, Mediocre RP, Pretty good hitting (C, 1b, 2b, 3b, all strong) SS could be strong. OF is looking like a bit of your weak spot. I love Sizemore, I dont like Burrell / Edmonds / C. Jones at util as much, but deff not terrible by any means. J. Edmonds could be great, same with burrel. Just not players that id pick.

Good team.

This is the most screwed up draft ive been in.

C. Carpenter, P. Martinez, Furcal, Ichiro all went in first round.

D. Ortiz went third, over vlad.

Roy Halladay went 13th overall.

Curt schilling was picked in the second round, So was J. Varitek, R. Oswalt,

WAYY short on sp, very, very, one of the worst SP teams i've seen.

However, you have GREAT relivers, and a Very good hitting team.

Thanks for the opinion on the team. I suppose I could trade away Rivera or Wagner for better SP. I may see how this works in H2H for part of the season before I do that though. I think that I am really only hurting in Ws and Ks, but really good in ERA, WHIP, and Saves.

Ive had many teams like yours in past cause i hate picking pitching :P. You'll be fine once season goes.

The league im in, the weird draft.

Joe nathan, bj Ryan, all went before Brad lidge , mariano revera.

Lidge went in 6th round, half the other relievers went before him.

ITs just a screwed up draft.

some guy picked 2 relievers as his 4th and 5th picks, why?

I have an amazing SP, And a pretty good hitting team from my prospective.

The relief pitching obviously needs some help.

I got Hunter / Fielder / Wilkerson as all backups to mainly Bonds / Crisp if they dont have the seasons they should.

I think its pretty good, 12 team 5x5 league head to head.

Wow, Vandy you got some work to do. HOWEVER, you have a s***load of RP's, which means there has to be some guys short of RP on other teams. My suggestion to you is to trade Wagner or Rivera, maybe both, FAST.

RPs are really overrated in fantasy. They provide saves, but not enough K's, unless you have a stud there not going to be alot of help in ERA either.

I would try to package up Bonds and Wagner together for a stud pitcher and a decent outfielder.

Sounds like something to try. My other team that has already been drafted looks pretty similar as far as I am again loaded in RP. The lineup looks pretty good in that one too. Maybe I should look a bit more closely at my pre-rankings and move some SP up in it. I have always figured that it was pretty easy to find some pitching off of the waiver wire.

In further analysis, it seems like you went a bit too high on relief pitchers, I never pick rivera in my leagues, cause its just a waste of an early pic, no need for him. And it seems like you picked bonds a bit to early maybe? No offense, but the SP on this team is among the worst ive seen :P. lol

Try to get 1 major anchor-starting pitcher, like a Rich Harden, R. Halladay, J. Santana, etc. to start your pitching staff off. IT makes guys like Z. Duke look better on your team.

What I woulda done if I were you, I woulda replaced the pick of M. Rivera with a Top-tier starting pitcher, then id still have wagner, turnbow, gonzalez as relievers, and id also have a top SP.

;). Just analysising it for the fun.

Also, If i were you, id drop P. Feliz for a SP/RP (mainly SP) when the season starts, no need to have that much bench players :P.

No offense, but the SP on this team is among the worst ive seen :P. lol

Zach Duke: 8-2 with a 1.81 ERA in 14 starts last year

Matt Cain: 2-1 with a 2.33 ERA in 7 starts last year

If they both maintain somewhat similar success, they are far from being "the worst". They are both very impressive pitchers, and destined for success sometime in the near future.

You outfield is three injuries waiting to happen, and you don't really have any backups for them. Besides that though, I like your team.

Right now i have around 9-10, probablly goign to have around 15-16 when its all said and done. Ill manage all them for the firstcouple of weeks probablly, and then prolly only 10 of them well be managed throughout the year.

And yes iti s one fo the worst pitching staffs in a 12 team league. He has Z. Duke, M. Cain, and B. Chen is NOT a good SP team. Theres not a top-tier SP on the team, it would look alot better ifh e sayh ad, a Rich Harden or someone on top of those players. No doubt the potentional in duke / cain is there, but its just potentional, and you cant just have those 3 as your starters :P.

Your offense is good but not stellar. A-Rod, Dunn, Hafner, and Martinez are a pretty good core, although I've said before that Martinez typically goes way too high in the draft. If some of your outfielders stay healthy, you do have the potential to kick some ass though. I'm not 100% sold on Crosby. I'd look for a backup SS and a non-injury prone OF. You have two great SP, one pretty good one, and some other decent options, so that should work well. You're really taking some risks with your closers though. Foulke mayb not be healthy, Benitez is coming off an injury and often struggles when healthy, and Reitsma isn't all that likely to keep his job all year. I'd try to jump on the first new guy that becomes available.

Young, then my next 3 picks, are all SP, and then i pick the rest of the team next, its been working v. well for me. I got a great team i think here, minus some problems like first base, and my outfield / UTIL isnt as deep really as it could be. But deff. aint bad.

The pitching is okay, but the offense looks weak as a whole. Young is solid and Chavez and Cantu are alright, but the rest looks bad. You're low on power and speed, which doesn't bode well. For using that strategy with pitching, you didn't make out that well. You should probably lean the other way, because pitchers are more inconsistent and injury prone. I'd trade one of the closers for another bat now, and still try to find another one somehow.

Ah after re-looking at the offense, i see what your saying. I know the other way and have better-hitting teams, but I completely see what your saying with pitchers being injury-prone. I dont see how the offense is terrible weak, Basically my 1b is weak. My of is Floyd, holliday, Francour, Gomes, Mo pena. Floyd is not really weak? Duno much about him. Holliday and francour have possibilitie of being studs (tho i do see from your standpoint how they can be less then stubs as their so young), and Gomes is sorda in the same league.

Also i see how i could use a Bit of speed.

Thx for the rating. And yeah I prolly should trade a RP for a hitter.
