Cartel, All-Time Low, We the Kings, Jimmy Eat World (have been a fan of them forever), and now a new local Vegas band called The Cab. What the hell is wrong with me? As for stretching the punk genre, the hip-hop acts that were selected seemed punk enough and its interesting to get a few of them in the tournament. We definitely stretched a bit with picks like Leslie Feist, Liz Phair and LCD Soundsystem... but again it makes the tournament a little more interesting. I think it's a good recreation of what it would be like to have gone to a Nirvana concert in the early 90's, which I was sadly not able to do.
