Much more aggresive and "hooky" actually. Have you heard that full length? Manson is one of the most "hit or miss" artists to ever work, IMO. When he is good, he is REAL good, but when he is bad, he's terribly boring. The new one has a couple of good tracks, but is more "in one ear, out the other" than anything else. I agree, aside from that one song (I guess, the fact that I don't remember it at all and don't remember the title kind of shows the holes in my defending anything the guy has done...). But all of Manson's stuff eventually becomes "dust collectors". I like them all at first...but then they just fade from the memory and I lose 100% interest in them. I believe that Mechanical Animals was and will always be Marilyn Mansons finest effort, top to bottom. Antichrist Superstar was good but rough around the edges, which he probably preferred.
