Danks 0-2, 5.06 vs. Durbin 0-1, 10.54

First game of a nice 5 game home stretch.

Could be Danks' first win tonight.

Hope the offense can come up big with Thome out.

Thome sits: Guillen dropped the hot-hitting Thome from the starting lineup Tuesday as a precautionary measure. Thome is suffering from a minor irritation in his rib cage that started Monday night.

"I think he can pinch-hit. I just want to make sure he doesn't get there and make it worse," Guillen said.

Erstad took Thome's place as the designated hitter. Brian Anderson got the start in center field.

QUOTE(max power @ Apr 25, 2007 -> 12:49 AM)
Oh, I see.

Heart attack avoided.

Yeah, he tweaked a muscle on his side. No reason to risk getting him seriously injured. Supposedly was available to PH if needed tonight.

Let's get Danks his first win!

Looking like its gonna be very windy and showers probable at with 70% chance of rain. I'll go ahead and say that I think they'll try and wait this one out and get the game in any way they can, but it could be a long night for those of us with tickets.
