Favorite not-so known ex White Sox

Wilbur Wood (well known to older fans so maybe doesn't apply)

Switching topics slightly, my all-time favoreite roll player off the bench was on the Bulls, Granville Waiters. At the end of a blow out, the stadium faithful would start a Grraaaaaaaaanville cheer.

Back top the Sox. Jorge Orta or Carlos May.

I loved the Milkman too but he started here for a while and was a pretty key guy. Timo Perez will always have a soft spot in my heart as well. No joke, I liked Timo.

I always liked Alan Bannister from my earliest memories. I definitely have to mention Bill Almon at short. I still remember a Monday Night Baseball game in Boston. Maybe the ugliest game the White Sox ever played. They made seven errors on national television, and I believe Almon had something like four of them. Anyone else remember that night of infamy?

Edit: Well looking back, my history was a little off. The Monday night game was at home hosting Milwaukee (July 5th), and Almon had three of the seven errors. Still ugly...

I LOVED Granville Waiters. The best 12th man to hardly ever play the game.

Donn Pall. The Pope. How could I forget?

A good South Side boy who grew up a Sox fan. IIRC, he went to Northwestern or some other Chicago area school, and wrote a very funny article for his school paper on the '84 Cubs called 'El Choko.' Sadly, last I checked it was not available on the internet.

Daryl Boston-Remember my first Sox game at old Comiskey shouting at him through the grating from those picnic bench underneath the outfield stands

Ron Kittle-Went to my old high school in NW Indiana

Lance Johnson- 1 Dog

Dan Pasqua

Steve Sax

Norberto Martin

Miguel Olivo

Ross Gload

My all-time favorite ex Sox though is WILLIE HARRIS. I just liked him while he was with the Sox, and while he was a liability at the dish, he came through with the pinch-hit to get on base in Game 4 in the 8th and eventually scored the only run of the game. For that, I'll be forever grateful.

Well, Durham was just kind of forgotten and people gave him the FU attitude like they did Magglio (which is crap in my opinion.) Canseco was kind of just a late 2001 add-on so we wouldn't look like we sucked that year of Todd Ritchie and 20 losses, and Gordon is another one people forget about.
