Fields out hits him, but Ozzie just loves him some grinder so they send Fields back down to AAA because they dont want to waste him on the bench. Gregory Pratt Posted September 19, 2007 Share Posted September 19, 2007 I'll always remember rolling over, half asleep, having fallen asleep with the TV on the Red Sox Royals game on to start the 2007 season, waking up and seeing Buddy Bell come to the mound and celebrate with Gil Meche as they had the biggest smiles on their faces that I've ever seen a player and manager have on the mound.
