So now what? I mean its just going to keep raining, I think. What happens if they can't get this game in? Would it resume in the 12th if it's played at another date?

It's too bad they can't settle this game in a shoot out.

My money is on Uribe.

I don't believe Baltimore comes here again. They will complete this game if they have to stay till midnight.

Yes it would, and at this point, I would rather that's what happens.

This has turned into a near-six hour affair. And possibly longer.

June 23rd would be a perfect date. Both teams are off, and Orioles face the Cubs in Chicago on the 24th.

Possibly much longer. They very well aren't going to call this game considering the O's don't come back to Chicago.

However I don't see that happening with Baltimore not coming back to Chicago....

so that means what we pick it back up in the 12th or do we start it over? what are the rules about this?

Yes, the 12th. On the bright side, they've used almost all of their relievers.

He's a great slugger, don't get me wrong.

it's fair to say he's not the player he once was, but please, take a moment to look at how dominant he was and how clutch he was in his career.

Game's suspended....at least we didn't lose!

Actually, that's not how I feel. Not getting a win in a game we should have dominated feels like a failure; it's like ending up with a loss anyway.

On the bad side, if there are new relievers on the team when they finish the game, they can use the new guys

He used to be clutch? I didn't follow him to closely, except when he played the Sox and seemed to hit a lot of three-run homers.

Yeah, what if they have a different roster next time around? They only had some gas-cans left.

Unless they trade for Rivera, etc., I'm not that worried.
