Dodger stadium plays big, especially at night. We are going to need to score some runs without, gulp...HR's.

The thought of us trying to do that kinda scares me! Hope Mark can shut 'em down so we dont have to score too many...

MY Batting order tonight would be:

Cabrera

AJP

Quentin

Swisher

Ramirez/Uribe

Dye

Crede

Anderson

Buehrle

Maybe cut down on the double plays?

JD wins the AL Player of the week award last week so we respond by dropping him in the lineup in favor of Uribe?

Wise will be starting tonight. We face to LHP the next 2 games.

Am I the only one who's noticed that in both 2006 and 2008 (Who cares about 07), Brian Anderson has been vastly better with the bat against Right handers than against left handers?

Give you an example. This season's splits, Anderson is hitting .156 off of lefties and .270 off of righties. There'd be a bigger Chasm in OPS (it's 70 points right now) except all 3 of his home runs have come off lefties. He was the same way in 06, he hit righties a fair amount better than lefties for most of the season. And so consequently, he only faced lefties.

Also hit into 2 key DP

We are not gonna get the HR in LA-thats the reasoning here

Whats wrong with a hot hitter up after Swisher & Ramirez?

Also last time i looked dye has one of the best batting averages on the team, so hes not JUST a HR hitter. We need the hot bat where it should be, not in the 6 spot.

Did they just say that? I had it on and they said they had no info on the scratch, just that he was taken out late. Did they say because of the back?

Just b4 they went to this Hawkism thing Chuck Garfien said he has a stiff back and Melton said its due to the long flight I bet.
