Quick question: Why does it always seem like the Catcher position is the most offensive-challenged position in the majors? It seems like such a barren wasteland, and I think we're lucky we even have AJ.

Catching is by far the most physically demanding position on the field.

Corky Miller has the advantage at backup catcher, although Guillen would not rule out Donny Lucy from the competition.

So unless Lucy really catches fire, it's C. Miller's job to lose right now.

I'll add this in here also.

In order to reach this final destination, Guillen has to pick between Dewayne Wise, Jerry Owens and Brent Lillibridge for two slots.

I'm surprised Ozzie even said there is a competition at all. Too bad Lucy isn't hitting well in ST, he might actually have had a shot.
