ThunderBolt 0 Posted June 8, 2010 QUOTE (Ozzie Ball @ Jun 7, 2010 -> 10:40 PM) I'd be pretty pleased with Workman at #63. Put me on the board, yes. For that as well. I'm assuming that Wilson and Allie will be off the board though, and Eibner doesn't give me a pause upon further consideration.

ThunderBolt 0 Posted June 8, 2010 I'd like us to consider James Paxton too.
Jordan4life_2007 0 Posted June 8, 2010 I'd say the Blue Jays and Red Sox had the best Day 1's (not counting teams like the Nationals).

ThunderBolt 0 Posted June 8, 2010 I'm still ecstatic we got Sale. I'm really pleased with the Sox for the first time in months.
Jordan4life_2007 0 Posted June 8, 2010 QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 7, 2010 -> 09:52 PM) Tampa took 3 great offensive talents I don't know jack about Drew whatever his last name is. So that's why I just threw Toronto and Boston out there.

SoxAce 3,094 Posted June 8, 2010 I hope we get Allie tomorrow. If not, I would not mind Workman or a position player like Washington. Rays, Red Sox, Rockies and Tigers with great drafts so far. I like the Cardinals draft too. Cox at #25 was amazing for them to rebuild that system. Angels obviously have a plan with the high schoolers. We'll see if it works for them. daggins 333 Posted June 8, 2010 White Sox got one of the better picks I think with Sale. Rays and Red Sox had the best first days, and Tigers did the most with least.

Springfield Soxfan 53 Posted June 8, 2010 Will be interesting to see where Morgado goes tomorrow. There were a lot of people who had him convinced he would be a first rounder this year by going back into the draft.
Quin 4,030 Posted June 8, 2010 Sox lucked out...both of them. I was hoping Castellanos or Ranuado would magically fall. Oh well. Wilson is intriguing...we pried TT from college, so perhaps another mega tools OF is in order.

Wilson should be the target, but I doubt with the season we are having (attendance wise) there will not be money budgeted to buy him out of his commitment.
