Matching Random Sox

Here's a little game. I'll start off by mentioning a random White Sox player from the past. The next person that replies has to reply with a thought, memory, opinion, etc. about that player, and then they choose a new player.

He was an average RF and the Sox caught lightning in a bottle with him in '95 at the age of 32.

 

He had a career year in BA, OBP and SLG in the shortened '95 season before getting dealt to ATL and getting a ring with the Braves.
