If we lose today, that's 2-3 vs Cleveland and KC...new year, same old s***.

If they come back and win today, that's 3-2 vs. CLE & KC, on pace to win 97 games

This KC, in my opinion, is way better than people on here are giving credit to, especially playing with confidence after their Angels series.

We could be 0-5, and it wouldn't change the outcome for the season. Doesn't matter who you beat or lose to right now, IMO.

Just as a note...fathom of course went with 0-5 to make the point, not 5-0.

they may be a hit in April but reality will settle in.

Yeah if we lose 3 out of 5 and 1 is to Cleveland and the other 2 to KC... I'm gonna vomit, Dunn or no Dunn. We shouldn't need Dunn to win at least 1 game vs. the Royals.

For real? If I said 5-0 and it wouldn't make a difference, then I'd get blasted for being pessimistic.

They look improved. And then I remember the SP.

LOL we scored 6 runs yesterday. If the offense has to score 6+ runs everyday we're not going to win much this year.

but have now not scored in the lst nine innings.

6 runs against Luke Hochaver is not all that impressive.

Our hitting looks fine right now. Better approach than what we've seen in recent years during the first month.

Hochevar's career ERA is 5.61, which means that 6 runs in 6 innings against Hochevar is well above average.

I honestly don't know how you can complain about a team scoring 6 runs. That's not bad at all.

Of course. It's a game thread. The worse you feel about the team, the cooler you are.

We strand more runners that are in scoring position with no outs than any other team in baseball it feels like over the last couple years..please prove me wrong.
