I don't think its bothering him any more, I think he came back too early from it and is still completely off kilter from it.

I know you weren't saying it's bothering him anymore. I'm saying it shouldn't put him "off kilter" for an entire month. He's pressing and he's struggling, and I don't think it's attributable to the surgery and resulting layoff.

What about this? DFA Pierre and keep Lillibridge in left. Can´t be any worse and I really see some effort from Lilli this year on both the O & D sides of the house.

Nobody's gonna DFA Pierre. It's not like he's hitting .180 like Dunn.

I agree Juan has been a horrible acquisition for the Sox but the DFA won't happen.

Does anybody know how many meaningful hits he's had this season?

I can't remember any, but I don't like Dunn so maybe I'm not trying hard enough.

If he and the team struggles the next few weeks, I wouldn't be so sure of that.

Hahahahahahaha Pierre can't even get the ball out of the infield. Pure garbage. DFA PLEASE.

The Elf should definitely eat up some of Juan's playing time.

Like somebody said the Elf appears really good defensively so we won't be losing anything.

But they ain't gonna DFA him until his BA reaches Dunn-like proportions.

This team doesn't appear to be struggling anymore.

It's time to position ourselves for an extended run and get this team built for a run at the division. Juan may or may not be a part of that run, but his possible demotion isn't going to be because the team is struggling, but rather because the team is winning without him.

You do realize that chances are this is an aberration? They don't end up with consistent numbers at the end of the year much more often than Dunn.

He needs to be in the lineup everyday.

Wasn't Lillibridge a Sox talk whipping boy coming out of spring training?

Not trying to start a fight. It just dawned on me the guy we love now I think was pretty much universally despised.

How has Beckham looked the last few nights? Does he look like he might be getting his s*** together?

Eh...he still hasn't looked great against the fastball, last night's HR was against a hanging curveball.

When he "Turns it around" he'll be lining the FB the other way.

This pretty much happens all the time here.

And that'll happen when he learns a new stance and approach. It's so frustrating to see him set himself up for failure when clearly the tools are there for him to become a good player.

Dunn has to be leading the league in way out in front hard hit foul balls... And strikeouts.

Time to move CQ to the 3 hole and move Dunn down.

Quentin has been hitting like Dunn with fewer walks for the last 2 weeks.
