Pretty ridiculous. Lets hope he gets in through the vote in. But this is beyond stupidity, even tho 1B is stacked, Konerko deserves it and so does Humber, but there are a ton of good pitchers, but seeing Cuddyer make it in front of Konerko is disgusting.

Forgot, Congrats to Quentin on his selection.

The Twins need a representative. Although I think Span was much more deserving. Swap Span and Quentin and Cuddyer and Konerko and I think it seems a lot more fair.

For sure, its a shame. Konerko has numbers better than 85% of the roster. Heck Konerko can even be up for MVP if we make the post season, would be in stiff competition with Adrian Gonzalez. But MVP candidate nonetheless, biggest All-star snub.

Fans selected 17 starters (including an AL DH), the players themselves chose 17 position players and 16 pitchers (10 starters plus six relievers), and the two managers -- in conjunction with MLB -- handpicked 10 pitchers and six reserves.

Are the non-starter selections made public?

Paulie was a ridiculous snub.

But it seems the AL is full of them.

Jeter shouldn't be allowed, Alexei should in all fairness be the starting SS.

AJ got a snub at catcher.

Humber, Sabathia got snubbed.

So much bad.

Its also tough seeing Brandon League make it over Sergio Santos

I can understand League. He leads the AL in saves.

But Chris Perez? WTF? Santos has been way better.

Other than Crow and Perez, I can't argue that the pitchers selections are all that horrible. Gio had to go since the A's had no other all-stars.
