7/5 Sox v. Royals

There's one! Paulino should be the perfect pitcher for our fastball hitting lineup.

Just like Ozzie and his 2 outs man on first, he is going. We should never expect a fastball on 3-2. We act so shocked when we get the full count breaking pitch.

I'm a big fan of Quentin, but it's a strange world we live in when he's an All Star and Konerko isn't.

I wish he would find his batter's eye again. He used to work the count in his favor and do serious damage.

Agreed, Twins have been doing this for years against us.

Farmer said only 22-23,000 again today.

So much for the fans being "All In."

Yeah, was hoping for better crowd with fun win last night and perfect weather. I'll tell you what, our fans just need to show up with more intensity from the beginning and no more Mr. Nice Guy!

Probably you don't make that move because you need to have enough offense to win games in our stadium.

Not with Morel at 3B. Then who would play 2B? Teahen? Lillibridge? Omar? Kuhn?

That would be the most anemic offensive infield in MLB if you took Konerko out of the equation.

Perfect idea to trade for Melky Cabrera. He doesn't run to 1B, either.

Peavy not missing many bats. He just doesn't have the stuff right now to pile up the strikeouts.

He's been a different player the last 6 weeks. If he could maintain a .725/.750-ish OPS with his glove and speed, wow. At 24 and dirt cheap, that's tremendous value for the Royals.

Viciedo patience problem, though.

Only 16 walks in over 300 at-bats.
