I swear to god Bradley is on the take.

He's been absolutely horrible. And yet Wondo makes him look like Messi. Anyone who would actually even have him on the roster let alone start him against Argentina is a f***ing idiot.

Friends don't let friends play in the MLS.

The MLS is hurting the USMNT. I have no doubt about that.

Argentina is way better but Klinsmann totally f***ed up this roster. He put us in a position with really no chance. Zusi, Beckerman and Wondo have no business starting against Argentina. Especially when we had 2 players who actually have quickness and ball skills rotting on the bench. Would have been nice to have someone like Feilhaber as an option in the MF too but JK apparently hates him. And Morris up top would have also provided some speed. JK's tactics and roster decisions are brutal and a major detriment to our team. I seriously hope he gets fired before the Hex starts (i know this won't happen though)

I like the MLS and it has place but we can't be overly relying on MLS players to carry the load. For depth guys and for our players who are going through their first cycle and need the minutes then it's fine. Bradley came back for the money and has regressed. Omar Gonzalez probably hit a wall by staying in the league too long. Now he's in mexico so maybe things will get better. Jozy made some bad decisions after leaving The Netherlands and injuries haven't helped but he is too hot and cold since going to Toronto. Jordan Morris playing in Seattle is probably a good thing for now but eventually he needs to go to Europe.

In the long run, MLS is critical to the USMNT. It provides greater opportunity for Americans to play professionally, thereby increasing the depth in the pool. And the Academies provide an opportunity for the most talented young guys to play professionally in their teens rather than resorting to the college route. IF the USMNT is ever going to be a top tier soccer side, the quality of MLS and youth development need to rise significantly.

Like you said, ideally, the MLS provides depth and opportunity for the young guys while acting as a feeder system for European leagues. Ideally, the best Americans are still getting games overseas. I can't fault Bradley, Dempsey or Jozy for jumping at the big payday and increased stability in MLS, but in the short term, that's a bad trend.

Gonzalez was a regular starter for the Mexican League champions in his first year in Mexico. How is that hitting a wall by staying in MLS too long? If anything blame Klinsmann for not selecting him.

Gonzalez was bad for the US in 2014 and 2015. Hard to blame JK for not selecting him bc he wouldn't have played in this Copa.

So since Monday, Jurgen Klinsmann has gone from 40-1 to 1-3 to become the new manager at Southampton and Ladbrokes is reporting that 95% of the money they have taken in the past two days on that prop has gone towards Klinsmann.

Interesting.

Interesting indeed.

So if this does happen, who's the replacement?

Have you seen Matt Besler play since the World Cup (although he was solid against Ecuador)? How about Michael Orozco ever?

Orozco should lose his spot on the team after his stupid red card at the end of the game.
