Mark Buehrle Appreciaton Thread

Recommended Posts

Great player, class guy, wore the colors with honor. Will be missed. Hatred for Rios/Dunn/Peavy likely to reach higher levels as it sinks in the that the face of this franchise and leader of the staff is now pitching elsewhere.

Grew up with Mark Buehrle being my favorite player for the White Sox. He was always a class act. Always kept things fun. Always said the right things when things were not going right. Thanks for all the great years MB!!!

MB56, you were my favorite Sox player since Jim Parque left, and I will miss you. Cheers to having fun with the Marlins! Can't blame you for that payday!

Long Live the King, Mark Buehrle! The city of Chicago [and Kenosha!] LOVES YOU MARK!

love me some MB. Always remember the perfecto, the no hitter, the kicksave glove flip - always remember 2005 and his save. Buehrle's the man.

So long Mark...no matter what jersey you wear, you will always be a White Sox.

My favorite pitcher, ever. I love Mark Buehrle so much.

I'm looking forward to seeing #56 retired and his statue erected.

Since I've started the White Sox like a real diehard fan, he's been there. I wish him the best of luck. He deserves the money. He deserves the sunlight. I wish him the absolute best!

Man, seems like forever ago that they ran him out there as a reliever in the early 00s. We all spent 10 good years together. Thanks for everything Mark, especially in 05!

He will get his number retired, but I hope they don't pull a Baines and do it while he's playing. It's one of those things....don't give 56 to anyone else, but don't retire it until he retires himself.

It's going to be weird to watch the Sox next year without him.

I meant 10+! I had forgotten how much he pitched in 2000.
