GT 4/13/12 - SOX vs. Tigers - 1:10p CDT - CSN

Recommended Posts

Santiago really has a nice calm demeanor.

Didn't let the Fielder single, the 3-0 count against Young or the balk bother him.

Didn't go with the slider, curve or screwball more than once or twice, almost all heat.

Hell of a performance by Peavy, and Thornton got the huge double play against our biggest nemesis. Stay hot PK and AJ, we need you

Tomorrow we battle the Tiggs for the sole possession of first place. We are just 1/2 game out. Let us win tomorrow and give Ventura his first taste of 1ST PLACE as manager.

Anyone know what Hector's walk out music was?

Don't know. But I know that we are on a 3 game winning streak.. 3-0 against AL Central. That is sweet.

Or in other words, he needs a new song :)

How about this? It has the name, it has the rock anthem. Sounds like closer music to me!

0:00-0:30

I could really do without the screaming parts though.....yuck.

Huge hit by Morel there! And yes, I love a leadoff man who can get an extra base hit!

I'm scared to look at what his OPS and SLG are right now because there is no way it stays this high. He's been great to start this year though.

I hope you're being sarcastic about Morel so far.

Or you mean DeAza? Well, nobody expected him to be around 900 for most of the 2nd half last season, either.

It is such a different series against the Tigers when you don't have that threat of Verlander in one of the games. When he is pitching you almost think it is the best of two, with the game against him a foregone conclusion that it is a loss.
