Im glad Robin finally admitted that they cant keep Beckham and Morel in the lineup with the way they are hitting(if they keep it up). He is going to give them more time. But if they keep struggling he'll take them out.

Saw "Beckham suspended for 50 games" at mlb.com and part of me actually hoped it was Gordon and not Tim.

But then it would be REALLY hard to explain why he's fallen off a cliff offensively.

no kidding :lolhitting

Looks like we've got a game, even if nobody is there or watching.

2 quick outs for Chris Sale.

Attendance below 10,000 officially tonight? It's going to be close. Considering it's technically a game for first place in the division...

Alexei Ramirez is 0 for the season on sinking fastballs over the heart of the plate...unless you consider his success in hitting the ball on the ground into DP's the last couple of seasons.

It's very conceivable that we'll fall to 29th in MLB attendance and overall average will be standing below 20,000 per game...if not after tonight, definitely after this series.

That's pretty shocking. 23rd-26th, okay, expected...but 29th?

Still can't get anything going from the #2 spot

Does it make sense to move the entire lineup down a spot? Bat Dunn 2nd, Paulie 3rd, AJ 4th, Rios 5th, etc.? Is it better to do that than to plug in automatic outs/DP machines into the 2-hole just because of common wisdom? Better to have Dunn up with no outs and De Aza on than Dunn up with 1 or 2 outs because our "2-hole" guy is terrible.

There are only so many spots in a lineup where you can hide someone.

I just don't get putting Alexei there while he's in the middle of his typical early season slump. You can see the big issue in his swing right now is he's not staying on top of the pitch, and dropping his back shoulder a ton.

He can dial it up to 93-94-95 when he needs it.

Normally, he's throwing in the 91-92-93 range in the early innings, but it fluctuates.

So a good LFer would have made one or both of those plays? Can't see it, just following on GameDay.
