Balta1701 5,260 Posted May 20, 2012 QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 19, 2012 -> 09:17 PM) Adam Dunn could have hurt someone with that. Dempster had the right idea.
Heads22 3,079 Posted May 20, 2012 I guess he can hit lefties occasionally.
justBLAZE 221 Posted May 20, 2012 oh hai James Russell.
Thad Bosley 809 Posted May 20, 2012 I think it may be safe to say that Adam Dunn is "ALL IN" this season!
Balta1701 5,260 Posted May 20, 2012 QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 19, 2012 -> 09:18 PM) I guess he can hit lefties occasionally. 2 off of lefties this week.
greg775 1,731 Posted May 20, 2012 I love when the Sox hit home runs. It's our game and our only offensive game. Good job, Adam. I hate the Cubs so much now after the Paulie thing. Sweep please!
LittleHurt05 324 Posted May 20, 2012 And it was off a lefty!
Disco72 0 Posted May 20, 2012 That's a good stat: Dunn had 2 HRs vs lefties last year and 2 vs lefties this week.
LittleHurt05 324 Posted May 20, 2012 2012 Adam Dunn is so fun to watch, I am almost forgetting about 2011 Adam Dunn. Almost.
greg775 1,731 Posted May 20, 2012 So all of you who listed excuses all last season for Adam turn out to be correct. Whether it was being DH the first time or a family matter or him adjusting to the new league (or my reason, being fat) ... he's officially a good to great player again. Amazing. Congrats to you who didn't bury Dunn.
Heads22 3,079 Posted May 20, 2012 Good job by Russell against our lefties.

Dunn had 0 homers off of lefties last year according to them. 6 total hits off of lefties, 1 2b.
Disco72 0 Posted May 20, 2012 Hilariously bad defense there by Soriano

southsideirish71 1,162 Posted May 20, 2012 I get a sense that I am watching my sons 7 year old pinto league team in the OF when I watch Soriano.

Balta1701 5,260 Posted May 20, 2012 And now a discussion about how the Cubs are weak in the middle innings, with no connection made to the reliever who up and decided to retire yesterday and how much that could hurt bullpen depth.

I just don't understand how a guy can look so good at the plate after looking so bad on a consistent basis. It had to be one or more of the reasons people listed last year. The guy is really bombing away. I still haven't read much about his weight. I'm assuming he lost some weight but I have no idea if that's true or not. I can't wait to see these highlights tonight. Hope they show the Soriano play. This is ... awesome.
