BigEdWalsh 2 Posted May 30, 2012 QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 30, 2012 -> 11:31 AM) AJ grounds out and goes back to the dugout by running across the pitchers mound. I love AJ!
ScottyDo 1 Posted May 30, 2012 QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 30, 2012 -> 02:36 PM) It was said earlier, but no way that AJ and Q are calling that. Those calls come from the dugout. They sure did when Ozzie was around, as Sean Tracey can attest
BFirebird 168 Posted May 30, 2012 Stupid meetings...I guess I missed some stuff. What happened? Q threw at Zobrist and got tossed? Bah. Good thing a day off tomorrow with a bullpen day.
kapzk 0 Posted May 30, 2012 interesting note, the White Sox have been 7-0 ever since Hudson has been inserted into the starting lineup

Then I disagree with the decision by Ventura It is a hell of a lot better though than letting Delmon treat the Sox like his b**** and never getting retaliated against. Cali 0 Posted May 30, 2012 Jones can have control issues... Man if he comes to close inside, he's gonna get tossed and Hawk will incur some FCC fines haha
Dick Allen 5,399 Posted May 30, 2012 QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 30, 2012 -> 01:36 PM) It was said earlier, but no way that AJ and Q are calling that. Those calls come from the dugout. Its either thar or its the pitcher taking matters into his own hands. He earned a lot of respect from his teammates today. The fact is, the guy who hits a batter nothing happens to, the guy that throws behind a batter gets tossed without warning. That's weak sauce.
caulfield12 3,819 Posted May 30, 2012 AJ believes he's the manager, lol. Why the hell would Ventura call that? To take out Zobrist? Zobrist was the one that AJ spiked. That makes ABSOLUTELY zero sense from Robin's standpoint. And to take out a pitcher who RHB'ers are 1/24 against this season and was on cruise control...unless he just assumed it would only get a warning and not the ejection? hogan873 949 Posted May 30, 2012 I stepped away for 20 minutes to actually do some work and I come back to 10 pages of posts. Too bad it was all about the ejections and warnings. Hope the Sox can hold on here.

TitoMB345 121 Posted May 30, 2012 What in the f***ing f*** happened? How the f*** do we get our guy tossed WITH NO WARNING when they drilled TWO of our guys?! WHAT IN THE f***ING f***! Too bad umps have no responsibility for their bulls*** calls/lack of intellect.

greg775 1,664 Posted May 30, 2012 QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 30, 2012 -> 07:31 PM) Nothing will happen MLB will kiss umpires ass. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ May 30, 2012 -> 07:35 PM) The Ryas fought back from a dirty slide in your world the game would never end as it would be HBP, HBP, HBP,....... 1.) The one good thing today is umpires are getting blasted by Hawk. Any day an umpire can get exposed is a good day. Umpires in MLB suck. They've tried to ruin the game. 2.) Hawk would disagree with you. The Rays hit two hitters and this starter likes to pitch inside. The Sox "retaliation" was a joke, not worth of an ejection. The batter laughed it was such a lame pitch inside.
Harry Chappas 754 Posted May 30, 2012 QUOTE (fathom @ May 30, 2012 -> 01:38 PM) Then I disagree with the decision by Ventura It is a hell of a lot better though than letting Delmon treat the Sox like his b**** and never getting retaliated against. The Rays were retaliating against a dirty play. The umps knew it and that was that. To then throw at Zobrist especially in a close game is dumb. The Rays seem to be a fine team this is not like the Showalter BS.
