Our hitters are always swinging like a mid belts high level fastball is coming, then it moves and they get confused. But don't worry next time up they figure another fastball is coming. We look at times like little leaguers seeing a curve for the first time. s*** did that just move......

Doesn't help that on the road, you have these shocking stats:

Youkilis: 178/269/294

Beckham: 204/257/300

If you are going to hit a lh in the 3rd spot, at least use DJ. He has shown to have some power and patience.

Dan Johnson has actually been outhit by wise the last couple years. Please stop, this level of backup qb syndrome is hard to watch. Hell, johnsons career slugging is only 20 points higher than wise and he had 2 15+ hr seasons half a decade ago.

But yet all he does is give the Sox good ABs. Might as well play the hot hand right now, it's not like this lineup is performing so well there aren't ABs for him to steal.

Most of our lineup swings at everything and anything. That's why we have such a low team OBP, which therefore leads to inconsistent run production. It isn't that difficult.

Low OBP sluggers have been the model since KW took over.

Yeah. That'swhy we traded for Thome, signed Dunn. Because those guys suck at Obp.
