Wonder why he brought in Veal instead of keeping Thornton in there? If Cleves had used a righty pinch hitter, Reed was ready right?

Choo has a BA over .300 against Thornton. Absolutely the right move by Ventura.

Agreed. And lefties were 0-fer against Veal. Without a dominant closer...I bet a lot of managers would have handled the 9th inning the same way with all the lefties that Cleveland has.

Like someone already mentioned...why did Pestano face Dunn?

I was thinking the same thing. How do you let Dunn face a righty with 2 outs and the tying run at 3rd?

Who knows. Maybe indies don't have any lefties in their bullpen. I don't know their roster. Or didn't have one up in time. Brain cramp from them. No wonder they are in last. Somebody going to get fired over there.

The hero that the city deserves...

I'll drink to that. Bam. Bam. Two home runs? Nice.

Please let that be the catalyst that makes us go undefeated the rest of the way.

That would be amazing. Dunn certainly saved the day. Did he wake up the offense? Huge night.

This. And Adam Dunn with probably the biggest homer of his career. Hasn't been on many good teams so it is probably his biggest.

I was thinking the other day he's never been on a playoff team. Maybe his HUGE night will wake up our other veterans. Adam Dunn with a huge evening.

Keeps him in there against the righty. Reed taking a sponge bath or something?

That made me laugh.

I kept watching this one unlike the Royals games. Huge, exciting comeback win. If the Sox play like this, I can handle whatever comes our way. Though that bobble at second was scary.
