We have an offday next monday and just had one so it's certainly ok to play the regulars today, but that is followed by 20 games in 20 days assuming no rainouts/DH's. Come on Balta, the guys just had an off-day on Tuesday and it's the third game of. the season. Do you really think Ventura needs to give them a breather right now? I'm ecstatic that Ventura is leaving all the regulars in today. As you said, Ozzie would have had 3 backups in today. Let the regulars get into a rhythem early on and go for the sweep.
